How do i remove the crown of a wristwatch?

I need to remove a wrist watch inside from its case. The only problem is that i dont know how to remove the crown as it prevents the inside of the watch to come out. How can i do this? Is there a special tool?

If you mean the crown on the winder stem,you actually remove the whole stem. There should be a small screw or a dimple or hole to release the stem.
