Mend Zanussi ZF 45/30 SS Fridge Compressor Noise

Zanussi ZF 45/30 SS fridge/freezer?

Hello I have the above fride/freezer it is working fine except that it makes very loud noise when it starts or stops the compressor it only makse the noise once.

Can I rectify it.

Thanks CK I have checked properly it dooesnt make any noise when it starts it only makes the noise when it stops. Even when it stops it does not make the noise all the time only sometimes. I am talking about the compressor. The Fridge/freezer is squeezed in tight space I tried to pull it out to check it but was unsucessful.

check the mountings on the compressor are secure and the pipework isn't hitting.if it is from within the compressor then there is no cheap fix as it would need replacing and regassing which is expensive
