Hi my 04 1.9DTi Vivaro has started just cutting out. Just before it does die it gives out a nasty rattle then just cuts out. It usually soon starts up again without any rattle, then runs ok. I've had it serviced and all filters changed, and put on machine but showing no faults, but it's still doing it and i can't trust it to go anywhere. Any ideas please before i spend a fortune having injectors checked???
I knew about the gearbox problem with the 6 speeds thats why i specifically went for the 5 speed but wasn't aware of any fuel related problems. Does anyone know where i should start to look without spending a fortune. Does it sound like fuel pump or injector problems or something else entirely??

m very sorry that i dont have an answear for you, i wanted to warn you about the vivaro van, the gearbox falls out of them at about 85.000, my brother had one, gearbox went at 92.000, scrap yard said they had one go at 35.000, fuel pump goes early also, vivaro, trafic, primastar, as you know are the same van, we were stung with these vans, it the most blatant case of {planned obsolescence} i hve seen in a while, mate that thing is a money pit!
