how can we fix my thompson plastic sink?

we have a thing tear just around the plug area and due to the age of the mobile home there is no replacement available.someone suggested fibrofill

If it is plastic check out the products at www.plasti-mend.com. They work very well on ABS or other solvent reactive plastics.
