my baxi solo boiler makes a consistant wizzing noise when turn on?

my baxi boiler wm70\4 stopped working although i still grt hot water . the lights go on the boiler when the heating dial in the hallyway in turned up but nothing happens any please help

well with out hearing it and bearing in mind there are only 2 moving parts 1 being the gas valve and that would just fail i think you may be looking at a new fan

Usually this is a sign of scale starting to build up in the system....there are chemicals that can be added, and the pipes and boiler could be power flushed out. Best get a professional opinion though, and not one from someone who can smell cash.....
