the freezer section on my RL33SB is crackling at the back and the cooling lights are flashing - fridge is freezing liquids

understand Samsung are aware of some problems and have extended warranties on some products
I have had the same problem. You need to power the fridge off for at least 24hours as there is a build up of ice in the cooler unit preventing a small motorised door from closing properly( this makes the cracking sound) and constantly feeding chilled air to the fridge compartment. This is an apparent design fault with these models.
