my machine will not empty, how do i remove cover to inspect the pump? can any one help please Thankyou

Hotpoint Hotpoint DF61 Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Dishwasher Hotpoint Pump

Remove the filters and then, using a torx screwdriver remove the plastic cover to expose the pump impeller. This will probably be jammed with debris so once you clean it, it can turn.
