Has the car been giving a 'beep' when you switch it off? This is usually a sign that the power sounder back-up battery is failing, which is a common cause of false alarms, especially ones which are regular (the back-up battery drains at a consistent rate until it reaches the trigger point, so the alarm sounds X amount of hours after parking).
Check the bonnet switch adjustment.
Is the car battery fully charged?
Has Mrs. West been 'decorating' the car? Make sure nothing is swinging or blocking the interior sensors.
Unless you are technically minded, the best thing to do is get the alarm codes read. This will tell you which alarm circuit is setting the alarm off and avoid all the guess work.
Many independent garages and diagnostics specialists have the equipment to do this, phone around for the best price.
Dont take it to a place that cant read the codes, they will bill you for hours of work and replace parts at random
