Mend BT XD1500 Bt Rings Answer

My BT Freelance XD1500 rings but you cannot hear the caller?

For the last coupel fo days, when I answer my BT Freelance XD 1500 the caller can hear me, but I can't hear them, yet when I plug another phone into the socket, it works fine. Any ideas?
