All summer without using the heating we have no problems with just hot water. As soon as we start using the heating for short periods and then revert back to the hot water setting the water temperture is luke warm. We can get the water to what it should be by turning it on and off quite a few times until it then works.

it is your three way valve that is passing, need a gase safe engineer to fix your problem, not a plumber

we have had the same problem since we had it installed nearly 3 years ago. the hot water ran cold when running a bath. now out water is luke warm in the morning when we have had the heating on the night before. we have had the heating engineer out on numerous occasions in the last 3 years and they cant see why it is doing this it is not all the time but it is very frustrating. they have changed nearly every part in the boiler but we still get the same thing happening .
