bath plug problem?

Hi, i have a bath with one of those metal twisters below the taps. it is meant to pop out the bath plug however, it doesn't seem to work. is there a quick fix?

Pull out the plug manually & Check if the adjusting screw is either loose or perhaps fell out down the trap
Mostly they need adjusted - ie screewed out and lock nut tightened - Ask the plumber assistant in B&Q to show you the assembly ( can be bought seperate if its broben )
