my baxi 50/4 problem?

works fine when it asks for hot water only, however, when its hot water and central heating it continualy stops and starts, i have noticed that the 3 lights are on, then when it faulters only 2 lights come on, then 3 the 2 etc. finaly it all shuts off. any ideas please??
