Knocking sound at rear left wheel?

hi, i recently bought this car, and all was fine, but now there is a knocking sound near the rear left tyre when you go over the smallest bump. i took it to kwik fit and they checked and tightened the exhaust and check the shocks, but could not find any problem. if i shake the car from side to side you can hear the knocking. any advice please? thanks

If it's a vauxhall it's probably one of the rose bushes or the droplink from the anti-roll bar.
A real mechanic - preferably an mot tester - should find the fault fairly easily.
