can i wire a 500w security light to another security light so they both come on when one detects something and have it plugged into the wall with just a normal plug if so what type of wire and fuse would i need

You would need to wire in your second light in parallel with the first one...whether it could be done though depends on the wattage that the PIR unit (the sensor) could handle.
