Mend IBM Message Turn Starts

My Ibm laptop won't start and only displays a message what should I do?

When I turn my laptop on it only displays a message and never starts this is the message it displays.....

I would take it to a computor doctor - the messages clearly say that there appears to be a cable problem and that the operating system can't be found - perhaps it's the cable to the hard disk at fault.
