does the fan on the back of my panasonic sa-pm28 work all the time or should it just power up when the unit gets hot, the unit is cutting out and giving a fault 61 reading. on the forums it says it may be the fan, have cleaned the fan and the unit is working but the fan is not spinning yet

test the fan, if the fan does not work it will go into protect mode. The fan is activated when the output reach a certain level. The unit should still work at low volume if the fan is at fault. Cheers good luck
