My carver gas fire will not work- when igniter pressed there is a spark and when I disconect pipe, there is gas coming out of pipe but it is not getting to the igniter. Any ideas please?
I can turn my gas fire on but it is very tight to turn off any ideas thanks

Change pilot thermocouple pipe.it has switch inside so after high temperature inside thermocouple pipe switch will contact and send signal to main valve to heater to come on.

Its got a blocked pilot jet, but other than blowing compressed air at the nozzle its a rather dangerous thing to try and dismantle yourself....big safety issues and checks have to be made when the job is done.
