hi
i have a 1996 1.4 corsa and when you turn it to the left or right it starts to squeek and ive being told that it is my power steering pumps that are going is that true.

Possibly pump failing, more likely to be the rubber belt which drives the pump is slipping.
This can happen if the belt is very old and worn (it becomes glossy and smooth on the inside face) or if it is not correctly tensioned.
Not a big job to check or replace.
