how to "flash" the box starview?

hi i have a problem my starview box needs flashed i was given the wrong programme and its froze i cant do anything with it can someone please help

thats ok , if your in the uk your fine , its not realy hard to do , i have done lots of models , you can get step by step , on how form www.afterdawn .com good luck .......

ok laymans terms , if there is such a thing..... first of all , if you look at the back of the starview box , you will see a port , marked (rs232) it takes a 9pin male lead , that links the box up to the pc , via a nullcable lead" NOW , you must have a pc/labtop with the (SAME) rs232 port on it , or you cant flash the box, because , you go on line and get this file from a website, save the file to your desktop" then you send the file down the cable into the softwear memory that is in the starview box , , so you must have the same ports on the pc/ laptop to start with . so take a look .......
