How can I find the age of a Craftsman electric drill model 315.11480?

I just got a Craftsman electric drill, model 315.11480 at a garage sale and wondered how old it is. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Craftsman Power Tools, Drills Age Electric Model

Bill I bought mine around 1978-81 as well. It is a great tool. Still running. Brushes, chuck and bearings still available. The tools back then were made to last. Keep it running as long as you can!!! Dated November 2013
