Electrolux EWF 1087 display fading then dropping out?

I have Electrolux EWF 1087, Australian Model, only 2 yrs 3mnths old. The power light functions all the time however the digital display only functions for a short period. It comes on, I select a program, the program starts, runs for 10 to 25 mins, then the lights start to fade, go out and everything stops.
If I unplug it, leave it for 15 mins then replug it in, I can get it to function for another 5-10mins, then the same problem again.
Does anyone know what is wrong and if so what part I need to replace to fix it?
