Mend Hotpoint WF340 Washing Machine Repair Appliance

how do i fix my hotpoint wf 340 washing mahine?

this machine is only 18 months old but will only go through a pre-wash and i have to change to a fast spin half way through to ensure that the cycle washes and spins. what is wrong with the maching and what can i do tofix this? :)
