Mend Motor Wiring Replace

Synchron Motor?

I wish to replace a faultu syncron motor with a new one, recently purchased. The two wires are both of the same colour (orange). Is there any particular way I need to wire in the new motor

It won't matter which way round you connect the orange wires.
