Mend Miele W828 Light Problem Told

Miele w828 rinses keeps flashing?

Rinses light keeps flashing and wash will not activate.
We have in the past had the same problem and it was costly to fix.
I am told Mieles are the Rolls Royce of all washing machines. Very disappointed.

Sounds like the power electronic control for the motor has tripped & blown the intergrated fuse on the PCB. This could have couple of causes. A: the motor is faulty. B: one side of a reversing relay on the PCB is shorted closed. Only way to be certain is to eliminate a motor problem first then progress to the PCB.
