how to fix hotpoint dc28 dishwasher?

I had same problem and this worked for me too. Note that tipping the machine back 45 degrees may cause the machine to leek, so put down something to soak it up. If it leeks when I do this, does this mean I have a problem with the machine or is this what I would expect to happen?

The anti flood device was the issue!

This would indicate a leak into the base has activated the anti flood device.

Unplug the appliance, tip it rearward about 45 degrees to drain the water out of the base.

Once drained the anti flood device should reset.

Try the appliance again.



If it fails during the first wash, take the panels off to watch the machine working and to locate the source of the leak.
