Where about are you? Here in NZ it would cost about $250 to repair the leak & regass the system. That is way cheaper than a new fridge freezer. If it is only 4 years old & otherwise in good condition phone around & get some further quotes from your local fridge service people. Make sure they are a reputable company & willing to give you a written warrenty on the work.
