how to fix fisher and paykel E402B prod no-11857?

had a tech over. says gas leak to evaporator near left accumalator on left side. says we should throw it. what do you think. it's only 4ish years old.

Where about are you? Here in NZ it would cost about $250 to repair the leak & regass the system. That is way cheaper than a new fridge freezer. If it is only 4 years old & otherwise in good condition phone around & get some further quotes from your local fridge service people. Make sure they are a reputable company & willing to give you a written warrenty on the work.
