acer m1640?

today my computer turned itself off & now wont turn on at all. its been turning off for the past few days saying system not responding, then rebooting.but today it just went off completely.ive tried it in differnet sockets & checked the fuses in the monitor plug n thats fine.....any help or any suggestions would be great.
