The pump insatallation is about a year old and has been fine up until the last few days, in fact it still operates fine when taps and/or shower are turned on. However, periodically it will turn itself on for about 10 seconds when no taps are running - perhaps every hour or so. None of the taps or showers are leaking/dripping.
Hi I also had a similar problem with my salamander pump. When we turned off the hot taps in the house the pump came on periodically. when i rang salamander they said i needed a special non return valve fitted to the pump and as a gesture of good will they ent me one in the post!!
