Automatic Corsa B "snowflake" button always on?

I have an R reg automatic Corsa and recently the snow flake button light on the gear box is constantly on. I dont think it is actually in ice mode as it drives fine and there is no indication on the dash. I am a little worried as I know the S button doubles up as an error button, is it same for ice button?

Snow mode is showing as on. If it drives OK in all gears assume a faulty switch. The switch makes a contact only whilst depressed the computer toggles between normal and snow mode. Read live data with scan tool to check switch. Unplugging the switch will not cause limp mode so is a cheaper option.( No more Snow mode though-big deal.)
