Mend Indesit 1570c Dryer Condenser Appliance

What is the problem with Indesit 1570c condenser dryer?

The water container doesn't seem to be collecting as much water as it used to. I took out the condenser unit to clean it and quite a bit of water came out from the back of the dryer.

Pull the white panel down at the front of dryer (under the
door),there you should see a plastic cover with arrows pointing upwards, open the catches and slide the unit out, give it a good clean and then replace.This maybe what you have tried already? If not this should work.Good luck.
