Briggs & Stratton Briggs & Stratton Quantum XTE 5.5hp Garden Tools, Lawn Mowers Carburetor Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower

Remove air filter cover. Remove carburettor cover (one bolt). Remove filter backing plate (if the engine is primer start, you WILL need a new gasket to re-fit it).

Unscrew the 2 retaining nuts that hold the carburettor on, and remove it, unhooking the govenor control as you go. You may need to remove some plastic covers to improve access.
