How do I remove and service the carberator on my Briggs & Stratton Quantum XTE 5.5hp mower?

Briggs & Stratton Garden Tools, Lawn Mowers Remove Briggs Stratton

Remove air filter cover. Remove carburettor cover (one bolt). Remove filter backing plate (if the engine is primer start, you WILL need a new gasket to re-fit it).

Unscrew the 2 retaining nuts that hold the carburettor on, and remove it, unhooking the govenor control as you go. You may need to remove some plastic covers to improve access.
