Barrel change ?

I am trying to change the barrel in a upvc front door but can't get the key in all the way so it is impossible to remove the barrel. Any ideas as to how i can get the key in an extra 1.5mm so I can pull out the barrel

if you cant get the key in take the handles of and snap the cylinder with a pair of grips or a cylinder snapper if you have one sounds like a faulty cylinder

when you take off the door plate where the loch mechanism protrudes through it should expose anothe small grub type screw this hold the barrel in place remove that and the barrell should slip straight out no key required
