How can I fix my car door of my 2001 vauxhall corsa comfort?

I have a 2001 vauxhall corsa comfort The problem is with my passenger door. It doesnt open. The door itself unlocks,but you cant open it. Doesnt open for the outside or inside. It appears that the door pins work, because the door unlocks. Have tried oiling it but still cant get it to open!!! This is a big problem.it makes getting my 6 month old daughter out of the car really difficult. Please can anyone help
