My Sylvania model SRT2232S?

My Sylvania T.V. model SRT2232S has the following symtoms;

A) It turns on, but no sound now from either my DVD or VCR. (All connections checked out good)

B) No volume!...

All other menu functions work through the operation buttons and are visible on screen.....?
