Mend Homelite BX90 Start Oil Spark

How can I get my Homelite BX90 Bandit blower to start?

The gas to oil ratio is 50:1. Spark plug is fine. The only item I can think of is the toggle switch for the choke. It is slightly stripped and spins, so I don't know whether this is the problem. Any advice, suggestions, or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
