I have to replace the lock omn my washer and the plate that the lock screws into has moved

got it had to take the seals off and undo the top screw in the centre of the top cover ,but a bar in and eased it up, managed to reach in and get the plate from over the lip, tightened it with the bar in so i could position it worked
