candy cd1012 does not drain?

My candy dishwasher appears to have finished the cycle but when you open the door the led is flashing rapidly and there is still water in the bottom. This happens on every programme except for P4 (rapid programme) and rinse. Every once in a while it works perfectly. I have checked the hose and its fine. Could it be an electrical fault? It goes without saying thet it is just out of warranty!
