Sony mp3 player fault?

I've only had my sony mp3 player about 6 months, but it only plays through one of the headphone ears unless you spend ages twisting and bending the jack, even then it goes very easily. Any ideas on how to fix this?

wont switch on but has blue light on side flashing just got a new car sterio an got blue tooth connected to it then it has quit.

It's the earphones fault. This happens to me alot. You just need new earphones.
