i am trying to get the battery out of my 2003 passat because there is water in the cat (lots) and i have found out that the well below the battery is full of water and i think there must be blocked drainage holes below the battery
hi there at the base of the battery you should see a plate which will have two 13mm bolts in it, remove this plate and take out your battery, hope this helps
