Mend Sime Super 90 Plus Boiler Burner Pressure

I have a fault on my sime super 90 plus combi manufactured 1996?

when opening the hot water tap to demand hot water, I have to turn the pressure up a great deal more than I used to in order to ignite the burner. The only other fault I had was to replace the fan unit as the bearing has worn out (replaced the bearing about 4 years ago). Can anyone advise ?

Sime Sime Super 90 Plus Heating, Home Heating Systems Boiler Burner Pressure

as usual with most combis the hot water is controlled by a diverter. thats your problem
