No it is not an air extraction fan & there is no filters or fan etc for the drying. There is 2 methods of drying. If eco is off then the drying will be sped up by the heater element turning on for 1 minute then off for 2 minutes. It will do this about 6 times before switching off. If eco is turned on then the element is not used to speed up the drying. It uses the residual heat in the cabinet from the last rinse which will be a hot rinse. This takes much longer. Usually best left overnight. If eco is off , open the door when it is in the drying cycle & see if the element is heating.
