Mend Minivator 9000 Stairlift Battery Charging

Minivator Stair Lift?

the charger unit red led is lit but no amber (charging) or Green (charged) leds light up ? stair lift wont operate at all could a new battery solve this ? does the battery need to be charged ? or can lift operate run on power from charger ?? Any help would be appreciated thanks

In which country are you?

Which model do you have? 930, 1000 or 2000?
If the batteries are flat, you will have to recharge them with a different charger. The Minivator power supply and control board charging circuit will not charge the batteries if they fall below a certain voltage.
