My Stannah 260 stairlift battery ran low because the contactor bracket was loose. Now one battery will not charge above 11.4 volts and the lift will not move with a person on it. It will move a short distance empty but stops and has to be manually returned to the charging station. Is the battery the problem or is there another problem?
Hi there.........yes it is the batteries,,you need 24 volts+ to run the stair lift properly , anything below 22 volts will stall the stair lift,,,when with stannah if stair lift batteries faulted we had to replace both batteries not just one but you can buy these separately.....hope this helps....paul...
