Mend Hotpoint BF162 Dishwasher Door Seal Replacement

how to fit door bottom seal?

hotpoint BF162 bottom door seal,the new one I purchased from hotpoint is totaly different to the original,hotpoint say it is a modification, does anyone know about this and how it should be fitted? it is supplied with three steel clips the original had none and I cannot see how it will work!
