Mend Fuel Runs Filter

ive lost fuel?

if i pump the fuel ball the engine runs fine if i dont, it uses the fuel out of the fuel ball and dies i feel like its the fuel pump but theres no fuel in the fuel filter even while im pumping manually i dont know howthe fuel pump works is it a vacuum pump?
