changing the motor on a TDL52 Hotpoint?

Hi there
You need to lie the dryer on its front, undo all the screws from the back. remove the cover from the earthing strip. remove the earthing strip you will see a bent pin through the pin, straighten and remove. This will enable you to remove the back panel completely. Take out the drum, undo the bolts on the motor 8mm spanner, disconnect wires reverse procedure to add new motor and there you go. New motor is about £75. Hope this helps
