problems with toshiba scart sockets?

toshiba 36zp18p seems to be effecting my philips dvd and ps2 the dvd kept going onto stand by but now only shows a blue screen the ps2 buttons dont operate as normal both machines are fine on another tv

have you been changeing the scart offten if so you may have broken the soldering on the pcb if this is the case resolder the scart socket and get a switched scart addapter about £5
