Mend Canon i560 Removing Head Remove

Removing Canon i560 Print Head?

My Canon i560 print head needs to be removed so that I can clean it using the advice given at this site. How do I remove the print head from the printer? Maybe I am being too gentle, but when I lift the print head lock lever, I still cannot remove the print head.

Do not remove entire thing.
Just pick the plastik part with 4 nozzles.

Remove the cartridges and lift the light grey housing. Then the print head/cartridge holder should be easy to just lift out

The printhead is simply resting in the carriage. Once the ink cartridges are removed you can simply grasp the printhead at the top and tilt it outward then lift it out. It should be very easy.
