hatachi freeview recorder?

My hatachi freeview recorder, changes channels on its own,one at a time, at intervals of a couple of minutes.This is not the remote as I have checked by taking the batteries out.Everything else is working perfectly, the recordings, the playback,ect. Can anyone help?
