Mend Peugeot 306 Car Alarm Immobiliser

How can I fix my keypad immobiliser on a peugeot 306?

I have just purchased a secondhand 306 meridian with a key pad immobiliser. Drove it away from the previous owner with no problems stopped on my drive at home and now cant start with the keypad, it accepts the code and turn green but then wont start. I can bump start it though, any ideas, I dont think its the starter motor????
